How to Fulfill an Order on Makro Marketplace

Fulfilling an order on Makro Marketplace is a straightforward process. This guide will help you navigate the steps from receiving an order to its completion. Follow the steps carefully to ensure timely delivery and avoid delays.


IMPORTANT! Fulfilled By Seller does not mean you use your own courier to fulfil orders. When you generate the waybill, it is auto-allocated to a 3rd party courier who will come collect from your location.


Step 1: Receiving an Order

When you receive a new order, a notification will appear on your portal home page. Look for the "New Orders" tracker at the top, which updates as orders come in.

To start processing your order:

  1. Navigate to Orders > Active Orders.
  2. If you manage multiple addresses, use the dropdown menu at the top-right corner to select the correct location.
  3. The page will display the statuses of orders and the volume of orders per status for your selected collection location.

Step 2: Generating the Waybill

  1. Identify orders in the "Pending Label" stage.
  2. Select the order(s) and click on "Generate Labels".

Important Note: Ensure your items are packaged securely and ready for collection before generating the waybill. A courier may arrive within an hour of generating the waybill.

Once the waybill is successfully generated, the order will move to the "Pending Handover" stage and will be assigned to a third-party courier for collection.


Step 3: Handover to the Courier

At this stage, the courier will arrive to collect the order. To ensure a smooth process:

  1. Hand over the order to the correct courier as indicated on the waybill.
  2. Confirm that your packaging is secure and complies with the required standards. For more information, refer to this guide on packaging products securely.

The order will now move to the "In Transit" stage.


Step 4: Delivery to the Customer

In the "In Transit" stage, the courier will deliver the order to the customer within the next three business days. Once the delivery is completed:

  • The order status will change to "Completed Orders".
  • At this point, the order becomes eligible for payment.

Pending Label Order has been received. Generate waybill for the courier to collect.
Waiting for Waybill Waiting for the waybill to be generated. No action; wait for the waybill to be generated.
Pending Handover Waiting for the courier to collect. Handover the order to the correct courier. Ensure the order is ready for collection.
In Transit The courier has the item out for delivery to the customer. No action required.
Completed Orders The courier has successfully handed over the order to the customer. No action required; payment will follow as per the payment cycle.
