What are the payment cycles?

What are the payment cycles on Makro Marketplace?

Makro Marketplace pays sellers twice a month. Payment runs are based on the date the order was delivered to the customer (not the order date).

Payment Runs

Payment Run | Delivered Orders Included
---------------------|-------------------------------------------
15th of the month | Orders delivered between 16th – 31st of the previous month
31st of the month | Orders delivered between 1st – 15th of the current month

Examples

  • An order received on 12 March but delivered on 18 March → Payment will be made on the 15 April run (delivery date is what matters).
  • An order delivered on 20 March → Payment will be made on the 15 April run.
  • An order delivered on 10 April → Payment will be made on the 30 April run.

Important to Note

  • If the 15th or end of the month falls on a weekend or public holiday, the payment run will take place on the next business day.
  • Only the delivery date determines which payment run your order is included in.

Seller Tip Use your Daily Net Sales Report to understand what you can expect to be paid. This report shows:

  • All delivered orders
  • Associated order fees
  • Returns (but excludes claims and the platform fee)
