How to Edit Listing Information (Price, Status, Pick Pack SLA, Package Details, etc.)

Editing listing information is an essential part of managing your product listings on the Makro Seller Portal. This includes adjusting your price, status, Pick Pack SLA, and package details—all of which directly impact how much the customer pays and how quickly they will receive their order.

Editing Your Listing Information (One at a Time)

To edit individual listing information, follow these simple steps:

  1. Go to My Listings Page:

    • Log in to your Seller Portal and navigate to Listings > My Listings.
  2. Select the Product to Edit:

    • Find the product you want to update.
    • Click on the "Edit Listing" button next to the product.
  3. Update the Relevant Fields:

    • Once on the product editing page, you can update the following fields:
      • Price: Adjust the price as needed. The selling price should reflect the amount the customer will pay.
      • Status: Change the listing status (e.g., Active, Inactive, Blocked) depending on availability.
      • Pick Pack SLA: Update the Pick Pack SLA, which determines how quickly you will prepare the order for collection. This affects how soon the customer will receive their order. For more information on the Pick Pack SLA, refer to this article on understanding the Pick Pack SLA.
      • Package Details: Adjust the package details, ensuring that it reflects the accurate contents of the package.
  4. Submit Changes:

    • After updating the necessary fields, click Submit to save the changes. Note: Since these updates do not affect the core product details, they do not need to go through QC and will be immediately reflected on the platform.

Editing Listings in Bulk

If you need to make changes to multiple listings, you can do so in bulk by using the Listing File.

  1. Request the Listing File:

    • In the My Listings page, click Request Download > Listing File.
    • Once the file is ready, click Download Ready and then Download to retrieve the file.
  2. Edit the File:

    • Open the downloaded Excel file. You’ll see various fields for your listings, including price, status, and pick pack SLA.
    • Update the relevant fields (e.g., price, status, pick pack SLA) for each product you want to modify.
  3. Save the File:

    • After making the necessary edits, save the file in its original format.
  4. Upload the Updated File:

    • Go back to the My Listings page.
    • Click Upload, select the updated file, and upload it to make the changes in bulk.

These updates will immediately take effect, and no QC review is required.

Key Fields to Update

Here are the main fields you will likely need to update:

  • Price: Ensure the selling price reflects the correct amount the customer will pay. The selling price can be the same or lower than the base price (Recommended Retail Price).
  • Status: The status of your listing determines whether it is visible to customers. Set the status to Active when the product is available for sale, or Inactive if the product is temporarily unavailable.
  • Pick Pack SLA: The Pick Pack SLA defines how quickly you will prepare the order for shipment. It directly impacts the delivery time to the customer. For more details on Pick Pack SLA, check out this article on understanding the Pick Pack SLA.
  • Package Details: Make sure the package details accurately reflect what the customer is receiving. This includes details about the quantity, type, and brand of products.
