Makro Marketplace reminds all Sellers to ensure compliance with all applicable pricing and consumer protection laws. Sellers are prohibited from engaging in excessive or unjustified price increases, particularly during periods of market instability or supply constraints.
In line with the Competition Act 89 of 1998 and the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008, Sellers must ensure that any price increases are reasonable, justified, and aligned with actual cost increases. Failure to comply may result in regulatory action and internal compliance investigations.
