11th Feb Portal Updates

Updates to the Makro Marketplace Seller Portal

Effective Date: 11 February 2025

The following updates will be made to the Makro Marketplace Seller Portal on 11 February 2025 to improve functionality and streamline order management processes:

1. Old Seller Portal Closure

The old seller portal will officially close on 11 February 2025, and sellers will no longer be able to log in.

To access historical order data from the old portal, a "View Orders from Old Portal" button will be available on the Active Orders page of the new portal. By selecting this option, you can download a CSV file of your past orders for record-keeping purposes.

2. Upcoming Orders Tab

A new Upcoming Orders Tab will be introduced to help sellers track orders received outside of standard business hours.

Details:

  • Orders received on weekends or during vacation dates (as set in your calendar) will appear in the Upcoming Orders Tab.
  • These orders will automatically move to the Pending Labels stage on the next business day, at which point they can be processed.
  • This feature provides visibility into order volumes over weekends and vacation periods.

⚠ Note: Orders in the Upcoming Orders Tab cannot be processed until they move to the Pending Labels stage.

3. Multiple Boxes for Waybills

An update will allow sellers to specify the number of boxes being shipped for an order, simplifying the waybill generation process.

How to Use This Feature:

  • Input the number of boxes when preparing the order for shipping.
  • The system will generate the correct number of waybills for tracking each box individually.
  • When entering shipping dimensions, provide the dimensions of the largest box but include the total weight of all boxes.

This update eliminates the need for duplicate waybills and improves tracking accuracy.
