Registration Verification and Required Documents

Our system is integrated with Home Affairs and other systems, which means that in most cases, you won’t need to upload documents if your information is successfully verified during registration. However, if verification fails, you will be prompted to upload the necessary documents for manual verification.

⚠️ Tip: Ensure all your details are entered accurately with no spelling errors or missing information. Typos or incorrect details may cause delays in your registration being approved.


Required Documents and Information

If manual verification is needed, you’ll need to provide the following, depending on your business type and what information failed verification:

  1. CIPC Document – if registering as a Company
  2. ID Document – if registering as a Sole Proprietor
  3. SARS VAT Document – if VAT-registered
  4. Proof of Bank Account – not older than 3 months

Steps to Register

  1. Provide your details and allow the system to verify them automatically.
  2. If verification fails, upload the required documents for manual review.
  3. Visit the Makro Seller Portal to complete your registration.
